GO.8is anautomatic switcherfor redundant backup management. It is in capable ofautomatically switching 8 Audio channels,one Midi line,one Video line. Switching can be between two audio players such ascomputers with sequencers, ortwo B.Beator other sound and/or video sources.
GO.8is ideal forlive concerts and theatrical performanceswhere BackingTracks, Midi and Video tracksthat cannot be interrupted are used.
GO.8 exploits a gate that detects the crash of the main machine andswitches to the "backup" machine in real time,ensuring continuity even in case of failure.
Two groups of audio inputs(with 8 balanced channels),two video inputs, and two Midi inputsare available, and switching between the two groups is done automatically by means of aSYNCH-specificaudio signal (sinusoidal, 1 kHz frequency) on GO.8 channel 8. As soon as the lack of this signal is detected, the device switches to input group B (redundant).
Switching can also be done in a manual manner using theSELECTbutton on the front panel.
